In 2001 it was acquired by Swiss entrepreneur Donald Hess who reinvigorated both the winery and the local community, many of whom are employed in the cellars and vineyards of Colomé. South American wine expert Amanda Barnes discusses Colomé’s story with its winemaker Thibaut Delmotte and vineyard manager Javier Grane.
