Francis, with his wife Eleanor spent forty years reuniting the original vineyards, returning winemaking operations to the chateau and restoring Inglenook’s illustrious heritage. With the help of renowned wine consultant Stéphane Derenoncourt and Winemaker Philippe Bascaules, they restored the estate with the original name, Inglenook. Despite the name changes over the past few years, the wines have remained at the pinnacle of what Rutherford and Napa Valley have to offer, consistently achieving ratings in the mid 90 point range.
