When life gives you lemons, order the lobster.

Another dish has crawled its way onto the menu this week. The kitchen will be serving chargrilled native lobster & chips served with garlic butter and béarnaise sauce. Terry, our Head Sommelier chose to pair this with a glass of 2012 Aliot, Chêne Bleu, Vin de Pays de Vaucluse, France. This Southern Rhône blend of Roussanne, Marsanne and Grenache Blanc will remind you of a fruitier and more aromatic version of a white Châteauneuf-du-Pape. This wine displays notes of ripe stone fruits and marzipan, whilst showing fantastic weight. The elegance of this glass supports the delicate nature of the Lobster, not forgetting balancing the richness of the bearnaise and butter perfectly.
