Richard Hemming MW

Head of Wine, Asia

Richard has worked in the wine trade for 20 years, and is one of fewer than 500 Masters
of Wine in the world. His career started in UK retail with Majestic Wine before
spending 13 years as a freelance wine writer and educator. Formerly a Member of 67 Pall
Mall in London, he moved to Singapore in 2019 at the same time as the Club was
preparing to launch there. From the initial office of two people, Richard has seen the
team grow to full strength, and is now Head of Wine, Asia, working with the Sommelier,
Events and Marketing teams to deliver the ultimate wine experience for Members of the
Club.

As a Master of Wine, Richard helps to ensure that the standard of wine expertise at the
Club is peerless.
