Discovering Piedmont – Thursday 17th October – Sunday 20th October

The often fog-shrouded Piedmont is an epicurean nirvana, notable for its truffles, hazelnuts, meats and cheeses. Then there’s the wine… We are very much looking forward to Members joining us as we enter the realm of Nebbiolo. And when you think Nebbiolo you think Barolo and Barbaresco. And when you think of those you think Gaja, which will be just one stop on Members’ Piedmont adventure.

Residing in a jaw-dropping spot in the hills of the Langhe, Members will be making memories, formed by – amongst other special moments – lunches and tastings with preeminent creators of Barolo, Barbaresco and other iconic wines, a white truffle dinner within the walls of a magnificent 11th century castle, and the talents of a Michelin-starred chef.

Accommodation
Members’ hub for our very special trip to Piedmont is the stunning Villa d’Amelia. Sitting in the heart of the Langhe and a short distance from the town of Alba, Villa d’Amelia was born from the sensitive but masterly renovation of the 19th-century Cascina Bonelli. It sits on the ridge of a hill between luscious woods and spectacular hazelnut groves, with a breathtaking view of the Alps to boot.
