Discovering Verona – Thursday 18th June – Sunday 21st June 2026

It’s clear that our Members relish learning what’s in their glass directly from those who make it – and all the more so when they can do so in the very environment where those wines are made. With this in mind, we are delighted to introduce an intimate journey to Verona in June 2026 – a city where Roman grandeur, operatic drama and some of Italy’s most compelling wine regions converge.

Set in northern Italy, Verona sits at a crossroads of vinous influence – with Valpolicella to the east, Soave to the northeast and Franciacorta within easy reach to the west. It’s the perfect base from which to explore producers whose names have become shorthand for Italian excellence, alongside a carefully curated culinary programme that includes not one but two Michelin-starred tables – La Speranzina on Lake Garda and Due Colombe in Franciacorta.

Across four days, Members will meet the people behind some of Italy’s most reputed labels – from the quiet mastery of Giuseppe Quintarelli, to the innovation of Ca’ del Bosco, pioneers of world-class Franciacorta, and the expressive, terroir-driven wines of Zyme in Valpolicella. The experience is rounded out with an evening at the Arena di Verona, where opera unfolds in one of the world’s most extraordinary open-air settings.

ACCOMMODATION

Members will stay at the historic five-star Due Torri Hotel, an elegant landmark just steps from Piazza delle Erbe, the Arena di Verona and Juliet’s House. Known for its frescoed interiors and impeccable service, the hotel has long been a favourite of visiting artists, winemakers and opera singers alike. Expect attentive hospitality and a refined base from which to explore the city.
