A day of shooting with Purdey at Well Barn Estate – Friday 15th January
Following the success of our previous Members’ shooting days with Purdey, we are delighted to invite Members to register their interest for the next iteration – this time, an exclusive driven game shoot at the magnificent Well Barn Estate in Oxfordshire accompanied by a 67 Pall Mall host throughout the day.
Set in the heart of the Chiltern Valleys, Well Barn Estate is renowned for its challenging high birds, with deep valleys, high game crops and ancient woodland creating exceptional driven shooting. The estate offers a more intimate and traditional sporting experience, complemented by first-class hospitality at its purpose-built shoot lodge – the ideal setting to warm up following a day in the field and enjoy a fortifying lunch.
The day will comprise four driven game drives, with pheasants and partridges providing a varied and testing day in the field. As this is a January shoot towards the end of the season, the day will feature approximately 150 birds, a smaller bag than earlier in the year, but one that allows each Gun more time in position and a more considered pace, making the most of the final weeks of the season.
Following the morning’s drives, guests will return to the shoot lodge for a leisurely lunch paired with a selection of wines curated by our Head of Wine Operations, Federico Moccia. Each course will be matched with wines from 67 Pall Mall’s cellar, bringing the Club’s hospitality to the heart of the Oxfordshire countryside.
With its intimate format, exceptional hospitality and the opportunity to enjoy a day of traditional driven shooting in the Chiltern Valleys, this promises to be a memorable sporting experience – and a thoughtful early Christmas gift for a shooting enthusiast.
Simply scroll down to register your interest. Places are limited to nine Guns and will be confirmed subject to availability.
