Zaku Saké Masterclass with Shinichiro Shimizu – Friday 17th February
We are delighted to offer our Members the rare opportunity to enter the world of premium sake, as we welcome the historic and acclaimed sake brewery Shimizu Seizaburo Shoten to the Club, with brewery owner Shinichiro Shimizu joining us from Japan especially for the occasion
Founded in 1869, Shimizu Seizaburo Shoten has established itself as a producer of superlative sake, and in 2022 was ranked the second best sake brewery in the world.
The brewery employs small-batch brewing to painstakingly fine-tune its sakes, by hand, each and every day. The result is Zaku, a range of elegant sakes united by their mellow yet complex flavour profile.
Members will explore various facets of the sake-making process, through comparative tastings of sakes made with different yeasts, rice varieties, rice polishing levels and from different parts of the press juice. Whether you consider yourself a sake amateur or aficionado, this special tasting is not to be missed.

Any cancellations within 48 hours of the event are non-refundable unless 67 Pall Mall resells the ticket to another Member.
