The Ribera del Duero Top 100 Selection – Friday 25th November
The Top 100 Selection from Ribera del Duero is a collection of the very best wines from the region. Meticulously chosen by Tim Atkin MW, this selection showcases the diversity of the region’s terroirs, the undeniable quality of its wines and the emerging modern styles and blends. The Ribera del Duero Top 100 features an impressive and exciting collection of wines, ranging from elegant and refined Reservas and Gran Reservas produced by some of the region’s best-known estates to exciting Crianzas and Cosechas crafted by a new generation of talented young winemakers.
Tim Atkin was in Ribera del Duero this September, ahead of the compilation of the 2022 Ribera del Duero Top 100 Selection, which will be unveiled in November in his annual report. Over the course of his two-week visit, Tim tasted 600 wines, describing his subsequent selection as one of his “most diverse and exciting, illustrating the enormous diversity of which the region is capable, thanks to its range of soil types, altitudes, aspects and sub-regions.
