Sotheby’s Contemporary Art and Diamonds Private Tour and Tasting – Tuesday 12th October

We are delighted to offer our Members the opportunity to enjoy a special tour of the highlights of Sotheby’s spectacular Contemporary Art Day Sale. Coinciding with the world-renowned Frieze and Frieze Masters art fairs, this dynamic main auction will present a diverse selection of works by some of the most exciting, emerging artists working today, as well as established masters of the 20th and 21st centuries. Artists such as Banksy, Gerhard Richter, Flora Yukhnovich, Cinga Samson, and Alighiero Boetti to name but a few.

One of Sotheby’s exceptional specialists will lead the tour, before Members will also have chance to view Sotheby’s Diamonds, a pioneering venture that brings together the most exceptional and desirable diamonds, cutting-edge design and superlative craftsmanship in a very modern, forward-looking house.

Members will discover the entire complex chain of supply and creation, from the most trusted and transparent sources of the finest raw materials to the most sophisticated design and rarefied craftsmanship, following the near-magical transformation, from rough to refined, that lies behind each magnificent diamond jewel.

We will then convene for a wine tasting of wines from Les Hospices de Beaune in the Sotheby’s Drawing Room.

It is useful to note that tickets to this event are very limited, and should be booked early in order to avoid disappointment.
