Oyster Shucking & Wine Pairing Workshop – Friday 28th October

Any oyster devotee is aware of the gastronomic pleasure they offer, and it can be as varied as their oceanic terroir.

These intriguing bivalves can be crisp or silky, briny or sweet, citrusy or redolent of cucumber. However, no matter what their flavour, texture or origin, they all beg for just the right wine.

Oyster Boy combines street-market patter with fine dining expertise, and for the last eight years the team have been visiting and tasting at Europe’s finest oyster farms, the sole aim being to bring only the best back to London.

We welcome the return of Oyster Boy for what is a Members’ perennial favourite event, where we enjoy pairing one of man’s oldest delicacies with wines chosen by our Head Sommelier Federico Moccia.

In this masterclass, Members will learn the differences in oyster species and their farming methods, experience those varied textures and tastes, and, of course, discover the finest wines with which to pair them. You will even learn how to professionally shuck an oyster, so, happy shucking…

If you struggle with booking a ticket via our website for any reason, please contact our team contacting [email protected].
