Club artwork preview event – Monday 11th May

Those who have visited the Club in recent weeks will no doubt have noticed the striking contrast of artworks now displayed across both floors – a pairing of works by Tamsin Morse and Konrad Bartelski.

We are delighted to invite you to an intimate evening preview on Monday 11th May, hosted by the artists themselves alongside curator Dr. Christina Makris.

Reflecting on the exhibition, Dr. Makris shares: ‘I wanted Members to sip their wines among works that gently interrupt the moment – images that tap on the shoulder, inviting a second look. Bringing together Konrad Bartelski and Tamsin Morse, the exhibition becomes a dialogue of motion and stillness, of lived intensity and fleeting escape. Both are exhilarating: Konrad’s photography introduces a monochrome sense of atmosphere and escapism, while Tamsin’s work reverberates with movement and colour.’

We are delighted to exhibit their work in collaboration with The Sovereign Art Foundation, founded by Howard Bilton, Chairman of The Sovereign Group and a keen 67 Member. All the exhibited pieces are available for purchase, with 20% of proceeds benefiting The Sovereign Art Foundation – a registered charity that uses art as therapy to support disadvantaged children globally.

Guests are invited to enjoy Champagne, wine and canapés throughout the evening, alongside the opportunity to meet the artists and gain insight into the works on display.
