Situated in an elevated valley of outstanding beauty, Oldenburg Vineyards is surrounded by a spectacular mountain amphitheatre. At the heart of the farm lies Rondekop – their iconic, round hill which influences the vineyards planted on and around it, creating an extraordinary terroir.
Winemaker Nic van Aarde was born and bred in Paarl before studying Winemaking at Stellenbosch University. He travelled the world for 2 years after University doing vintages in Margaret River, Marlborough, St. Émilion and Sonoma.
