Seeing as Savage worked under the peerless Didier Daganeau in the Loire Valley and was once winemaker at Cape Point Vineyards – whose Sauvignons and Sémillons under his watch hoovered up awards – his breeding is certainly impeccable.
Yet there are many more strings to his bow, and here he introduces us to the full repertoire from his function-over-form urban winery, from which comes some of South Africa’s hottest tickets including Cinsault, Syrah and blends of both hues.
