Live from the Vines: Ricasoli
Hosted by Francesco Ricasoli, Federico Moccia & Massimiliano Biagi
Ricasoli 1141 in Gaiole in Chianti is one the most representative wineries in Chianti Classico, and Castello di Brolio is one of the oldest family-owned wine estates in the world. This iconic wine is made of Sangiovese, with a delicate touch of the ancient grape variety Abrusco. The grapes used for this selection come from vineyards facing south/southwest at 400 to 500 meters above sea levels and each bunch is the expression of the finest locations of the property, treated separately and meticulously. The result of this is a well-structured wine, rich in fine aromas. It has excellent ‘drinkability’, and great ageing potential.
Join current owner and President Francesco Ricasoli, Technical Director Massimiliano Biagi, and 67 Pall Mall Deputy Head Sommelier, Federico Moccia as they go ‘Live from the Vines; of this historic estate.
