Live From the Vines: Château Haut-Bailly

Hosted by Véronique Sanders, Jane Anson & Gabriel Vialard

Château Haut-Bailly possesses a multi-layered backstory, and its territory was regarded as a prime spot for growing vines as far back as the mid-15th century. Today it stands as one of Bordeaux’s most composed yet progressive producers, with 2021 seeing it cut the ribbon on a spectacular new cellar set into the landscape on the edge of its vineyards. Join Bordeaux expert Jane Anson, Haut-Bailly’s general manager Véronique Sanders, and its technical director Gabriel Vialard as they discuss its history, perpetual evolution and, of course, its wines, as they taste though a half-dozen flight of its grand vin comprising vintages stretching back to 1989.

The wines we will taste:
