Celebrate Chinese New Year of the Horse – Chinese wines and seasonal bites with Janet Z Wang – Tuesday 17th February
Tuesday 17th February marks the beginning of Chinese New Year. This year ushers in the Year of the Horse, specifically the Fire Horse, a Chinese zodiac sign traditionally associated with opportunity and optimism.
To mark the arrival of such a spirited year, we invite Members to celebrate Chinese New Year at the Club with an evening of specially selected bottles and dishes created for the occasion.
We are delighted to welcome Janet Z. Wang, author of The Chinese Wine Renaissance and wine expert for Channel 4’s Sunday Brunch. A leading voice in the modern Chinese wine conversation, Janet brings both expertise and infectious enthusiasm to the table.
Join us for an engaging and convivial evening as Janet guides Members through her inventive wine pairings, while exploring the cultural and agricultural significance of the moon across China and much of East Asia.
