Blind Tasting with Head of Wine Operations London, Federico Moccia – Thursday 6th August
Now that our former Head Somm turned head of Wine Operations Federico Moccia is no longer pounding the floor night after night, we want to make sure he doesn’t get bored. So…
Calling all blind tasting enthusiasts this August for an informal yet insightful evening as Federico shares his approach to sharpening the palate and developing wine-tasting experience.
Blind tasting is a fantastic way to challenge your palate and preconceptions while refining your tasting skills, free of undue influence from labels or reputations. Whether you’re looking to deepen your wine knowledge or simply enjoy an informal but informative evening, we encourage you to join us on Thursday 6th August.
During the evening, Members will taste a selection of wines, with Federico guiding the room through each one’s defining characteristics. From pinpointing key components to connecting them with specific regions, grape varieties and vintages, you’ll leave with a greater appreciation for the art of tasting (and don’t worry, Members won’t be put under pressure to identify wines in front of the room – unless they want to be!)
This promises to be a fun and interactive evening and we hope to see you there.
