In Bordeaux, a Supersecond is a Chateau that doesn’t hold a first growth status but nonetheless delivers high quality wines that compete with the best names.
This concept is still not formally used in the Tuscan area of Bolgheri, however consumers have been considering some estates as Superseconds for a long time.
In this masterclass we will investigate how these wines compare to eachother, as well as identifying their main stylistic differences.
