Up for auction…Bacchus wine auction at the Club
Our good friends at Bacchus Wine Auctions are running a sale of 376 lots of fine, rare and collectable wines, Champagnes, ports, madeiras and spirits in the St James’s Room on the morning of 7th December. Whilst this is an external sale, we thought our Members could be interested, so here are the details…
The vast majority of the lots for sale are from The Wine Society in Stevenage, with the remaining lots sourced from a very select group of private collectors.
The largest consignment includes all the first growths and a host of other top end claret including Ducru Beaucaillou, Léoville Barton, Palmer, Cheval Blanc, Ausone and Lafleur. There are also 12 bottles of Noel Verset Cornas 1995.
