“The greatest Champagne you’ve never heard of
Henri Giraud is the only Champagne house to use barrels locally sourced from the Argonne forest, which used to be the sole source of oak used by winemakers in Champagne many moons ago…

The Giraud family have extensive hectares of Grand Cru parcels in the prestigious vineyards of Aÿ in Champagne. Henri Giraud has been a family run business for five generations, with their current owner, Claude Giraud, showing huge passion for the estate and being named the ‘King of Pinot Noir’.
Giraud’s wines are Pinot Noir dominant (3/4 of their vineyards are planted to the variety…) and at least partially fermented before being aged in local Argonne oak. This distinctive combination gives them a particularly rich and intense character.
We are delighted to welcome Commercial Director of the Maison, Julien Girard (no mistake in spelling…), to guide our Members through a fantastic selection from this relatively unknown yet incredibly powerful Champagne, alongside a complementary tasting menu.
