Rumbustion!
Following the huge (and rather rowdy) success of our last rum tasting earlier this month we have taken a deep breath and decided to ask Sergio to go slightly mad and find some very old and rare examples to show you.

Sergio has scoured the market and compiled a truly amazing list of very old and ultra-premium rums – several of which have not been commercially available for decades, or in a couple of cases for over 100 years…
There will be a few changes from last time – partly in the interests of sobriety and also to reflect the vastly different price point of this amazing tasting.
Firstly, we have chosen ten of the finest rums rather than fourteen last time. They range in price from £100 to over £1000 a bottle…
We are going to give Sergio a radio-mic this time, and guests will be encouraged to spit or exercise slightly more restraint; anyone who wishes to consume everything will not be encouraged to go upstairs for dinner afterwards…!
We will taste:
English Harbour 1981
Bristol Rums Barbados Rockley 1986
Samaroli Guadeloupe 13yo, 1998
Angostura No1 cask 2nd edition
Veronelli Barbancourt 25 1970s
