Like father like son…Domaine Hubert et Laurent Lignier Masterclass dinner

In the 1880’s, Jaques Lignier purchased vineyards in Morey St-Denis in the heart of the Côte de Nuits. Having been passed on from father to son for 5 generations, the estate now extends to 8 hectares under vine and is run by Hubert & his son, Laurent.

The individual terroir of the holdings across the three villages of Morey-St-Denis, Chambolle-Musigny and Gevrey-Chambertin are expressed perfectly in their bold and charismatic wines. The domaine has consistently harvested the best quality fruit possible with expressions excelling when the vintage allowed, but always achieving very pure fruit, even in the most challenging of years…
