| Soave is an Italian white wine, made in the medieval village of Soave in Northern Italy from Garganega and Trebbiano di Soave grapes. We are very excited to welcome Members to the biggest walk-around tasting of Cru Soave brought together outside of Italy, co-hosted by our friend and Member, Sarah Abbott MW.
The producers attending include dynamic young estates (who are hugely respected by prestigious trade professionals), and niche producers who have been pioneers in biodynamic and organic wine making. Members will also taste expressions from established vineyards with a renewed focus on Cru production, and larger producers who are now making small batches of single origin wine.
In the last 10 years there has been a revolution in the diversity and quality of Soave, and we are very much looking forward to learning more about this often misunderstood region… |
