‘If you want the world to move for you, drink Rippon’ Matthew Jukes

Considered as one of the most picturesque vineyards in the world, Rippon’s Central Otago vineyards border the shores of Lake Wanaka in Queenstown, New Zealand.

We are incredibly excited to welcome Nick Mills (vigneron and former Olympic skier..) to the Club, who took over the vineyard from his mother, Lois, back in 1982. Nick gained enviable experience during his time in Burgundy, where he developed a sense of making wines that link seamlessly to the area and terroir, as opposed to solely the grape.

The bio-dynamic viticulture that was adopted by Nick when nurturing the fifteen hectare vineyard ensures the wine speaks of its land and people; a philosophy that is central to Nick and his family. This method has resulted in Nick producing some of New Zealand’s finest Pinots, grown from some of the longest established vines in the region…
