It’s always past midday somewhere in the world, therefore it’s always wine o’clock. However, the ability to function normally can be impeded by starting too early, so we are delighted to offer our Members a high quality, high choice coffee menu…much like our wine list!

We are very much looking forward to welcoming Amir Gehl, founder of Difference Coffee Co., to the Club for a second time to give Members a Masterclass on the sourcing of the coffee, the making of the espresso and how to get the best from the bean. Amir’s mantra is that only 1% of the world’s coffee has earned the prestigious title of ‘Speciality Coffee’. However, Difference Coffee sources the 1% of that 1%.

All of the beans used for Difference Coffee are evaluated using a 100-point scoring system, much like Robert Parker, however aside from the method of evalutation the coffee beans are suited to different terroirs. Much like grapes, the types of soil, sun exposure and all the conditions that can impact the vine, can impact the bean.

Amir took 18 months to befriend the world’s top coffee farmers to then produce a selection of fine and rare coffees on-par with first growth wines. Difference Coffee Co. develops the finest terroir-led coffee in the world, available via the convenient and universal capsule system.
