Henschke Masterclass dinner

Extending across the rolling hills between Eden Valley and Lenswood in the Adelaide Hills, Henschke is a truly outstanding winery with 100 hectares under vine, producing some of Australia’s finest wines.

Johann Christian Henschke first planted a small vineyard at Keyneton in Eden Valley in 1861, however it was fourth-generation Cyril Alfred Henschke, who in 1958 created the most famous wine – Hill of Grace.

Today, fifth-generation winemaker Stephen Henschke and his viticulturist wife Prue are at the helm, passionately upholding the family name and reputation. The famous Hill of Grace includes fruit from the 150 year-old vines in the ‘Grandfathers’ block – some of the world’s oldest commercially-producing vines. Henschke also makes the iconic Mount Edelstone and Cyril Henschke.

It is very much a family affair with their son, Johann, slowly taking over the reigns as winemaker, and we are delighted to welcome him to the Club to guide Members through a Masterclass dinner of these premium Australian expressions.
