New Zealand Masterclass

Whilst New Zealand’s wine industry amounts to 23% of the size of Australia’s, the country certainly makes up for it in quality…

New Zealand’s viticultural heritage dates back to James Busby, a Scotsman who made wine on the North Island around 1840, however it wasn’t until 1973 that domestic producers planted Sauvignon Blanc in Marlborough’s Wairau Valley.

In the 1980s, this success was replicated with Pinot Noir in Central Otago – both are home to world-class expressions.

Join our sommeliers on Thursday 27th June, who will guide Members through a tasting of this stunning wine-producing country.
