Clawing its way back on the menu.

Lobster thermidor is a classic dish invented by Auguste Escoffier around 1880 that you rarely see on a menu today. However the lobster thermidor vol-au-vent is a true Club favourite and we are incredibly excited to have this fantastic dish back on our menu.

Terry Kandylis, our Head Sommelier recommends pairing this with a glass of 2013 Chardonnay, Récolte Grand Cru, Domaine Serene, Willamette Valley, Oregon, USA.

This stunning Chardonnay from Dundee Hills in Willamette Valley is the epitome of finesse, elegance and power. The finest selection of Domaine Serene fruit, from dry-farmed vineyards combined with high elevation, gives concentrated flavours with tremendous freshness and poise. Mouth-coating, complex and multi-layered, this wine is the perfect accompaniment to the richness of the dish.
