We invited Members to an incredible dinner with Realm Cellars this time last year, and it is a great pleasure to welcome Scott Becker, the winery’s Managing Director back for a second time.

Realm Cellars is named after the immortal lines of William Shakespeare’s King Richard II, “This blessed plot, this earth, this realm”, and The Bard, one of Shakespeare’s sobriquets, is the quintessential wine of the Realm. Through ‘these blessed plots’ – vineyards and sites that Realm carefully curate – their aim is nothing less than to illuminate and reflect the pinnacle of Napa Valley winegrowing.

In 2012, Realm underwent a dramatic transformation. They invested in new vineyard and winemaking equipment, the development of new vineyard sources and in 2015, the acquisition of the winery, caves and the 15-acre Stags Leap District property that Realm Cellars now call home. With twelve 100-point wines in the last four vintages, being labelled as a new ‘cult’ wine is no exaggeration. The 2013 vintage sold out in under 3 hours when put on sale in 2016.

Making wine at the very highest level has always been at the core of Realm Cellars, and we look forward to sharing some stunning expressions with Members on 12th March, expertly guided by Scott.
