An Italian afternoon in the Clubroom – Sunday 19th April
When we shared news of our forthcoming trip to Montalcino, it was met with great enthusiasm, selling out almost immediately. It felt only fitting, then, to bring a touch of ‘la dolce vita’ to the Club for those remaining in London over the weekend.
On Sunday 19th April, Members are invited to reserve a table in the Clubroom, where our chefs and sommeliers have curated a special wine-paired Italian menu. Highlights include aperitivo-style pours of Franciacorta, alongside a selection of whites and reds from producers such as Isole e Olena and Biondi-Santi, finishing on a sweet note from Donnafugata. Expect interpretations of classics – burrata and panzanella salad, prosciutto pizza, and tiramisù – with the full menu available to view below. And to finish in true Italian fashion, a selection of grappa will also be available.
To accompany the afternoon, we are delighted to welcome The Jazzato Band, bringing an Italian-inspired set led by Club favourite Hetty Loxston, whose repertoire draws on timeless Italian jazz classics. Kick back and let the Sangiovese flow…
