Our friends from Honest Grapes are back at the Club to showcase Brunello di Montalcino’s newly released 2021 vintage and 2020 Riservas, drawn from a selection of the region’s standout estates. The 2021 vintage has already attracted significant acclaim, with Eric Guido of Vinous describing it as ‘a marriage of the previous two vintages, combining rich, intense fruit with finely balanced tannins’ to deliver ‘elegance in the extreme’.

Alongside the headline releases, a small selection of Rosso di Montalcino 2024 and late-release 2023s will also be poured, offering an early insight into the next chapter of the appellation.

We will also be joined by Santiago Marone Cinzano, who will present the inaugural releases of his pioneering ‘itinerant cru’ Brunello Lot. 1. This ambitious project explores Sangiovese through a new lens, challenging traditional thinking by selecting the best-performing vineyard parcels each year, depending on the specific climatic conditions of that vintage.
