Brexit Breakfast…The UK’s post Brexit Commonwealth opportunity; real or just too risky?
In an attempt to right John McDonnell’s famous malapropism when he expressed that ‘the Government is hurtling towards a chaotic breakfast that will damage our economy’, we are delighted to present a Brexit Breakfast.

We are privileged to welcome Oliver Everett to 67 Pall Mall to host a breakfast, where we will discuss the UK’s Commonwealth opportunities post Brexit. Oliver is Chief Executive Officer at Commonwealth Enterprise & Investment Council and a former British diplomat. Join us for an informal breakfast on Thursday 9th February as we discuss the the opportunities that lie ahead.
The Commonwealth consists of 52 countries with both historical and emotional ties to Britain. Its members are from every region of the world and at very different stages of development. Some are tried and tested investment destinations, others offer good returns but are higher risk territories.
How real are the opportunities in emerging Commonwealth markets and will the brave new world promised by Prime Minister become a reality? How do we extract value from our historical ties in a globalised and highly competitive world?
We can only hope our breakfast isn’t chaotic…
