Discovering the diversity of the Swiss-German terroir – Wednesday 31st May

We look forward to welcoming Members on Wednesday 24th May as we raise a glass to the diversity of both Switzerland’s terroir and its winemakers.

With around two thirds of the country speaking Swiss German, it’s of little surprise that Switzerland’s wines often echo those of our neighbour to the north, with many German producers also setting up sticks in our idyllic Alpine scenery.

In celebration of this vinous meeting of minds, our brilliant sommelier Teona Floare has picked out some fantastic wines, all born from wineries situated in the German-speaking part of Switzerland, and all displaying typical German finesse with an added dash of Swiss flair.
