A Day of Shooting with Purdey at Englefield Estate – Friday 22nd March 2024

We aim to deliver our Members a wide range of events, both inside and out of the Club, wine-focused and experiential, each designed to appeal to our Members’ eclectic tastes and interests. We are therefore delighted to announce a day of simulated shooting for our Members with Purdey at the Englefield Estate, where we will enjoy a scenic breakfast, four shooting drives and a Champagne reception, all followed by a delicious traditional shoot lunch with paired wines chosen by our 67 Sommelier team.

The Royal Berkshire Shooting School, now Purdey at the Royal Berkshire, has pioneered both the concept and sport of Simulated Game Shooting. Through their imaginative shaping of each estate’s topography combined with the use of manual traps, our friends at Purdey bring you shooting that’s both realistic and exhilarating whilst accommodating all levels of experience.

Extending over 15,000 acres and set in the heart of Berkshire, Englefield Estate combines first-class shooting with a magnificent setting and the rare opportunity to shoot within an hour of London. The house, which was built in 1558 lies at the heart of the estate.

With the festive season now approaching, we are sure that the trip would make a perfect gift for the clayshooting enthusiast in your life, and as such Members are welcome to gift this event or invite a guest to accompany them, simply let us know during your enquiry.
