Matthew Jukes’ 100 Best Australian Wines Walkaround Tasting – Tuesday 9th May
According to Roger Jones (the renowned restaurateur, wine judge and writer), Matthew Jukes is ‘the Crocodile Dundee of the Australian wine industry, searching for that rare or new wine that may have been hidden in the “outback”, under a rock.’
What is beyond doubt is that Matthew is one of the most highly respected wine experts, and he has invited our Members to taste an extensive list of the wines that feature in his 100 Best Australian Wines Report which represents the finest 100 Australian wines on the UK’s shelves.
Members can leisurely taste their way through Matthew’s snapshot of the highest echelons of Australian oenological skill.
The only criteria to be in the report is that every wine on the list must be available in the UK, although many will be in miniscule numbers and rare as hen’s teeth. We hope Members will enjoy the opportunity to not only taste some exceptional wines but also glean invaluable insight into how to start or grow their Australian wine collections.
