We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Reception Manager to join the founding location of the 67 Pall Mall Members’ Club, located in the heart of London’s St. James’s.

67 Pall Mall is a Private Members’ Club, founded by wine lovers, for wine lovers, and is home to the finest wine list in the world.

At 67 Pall Mall our Reception team are the first face of 67. We are seeking a vibrant individual to join our Reception team on a full-time basis. This is an opportunity to work at one of the premier Members Clubs in the world.

ABOUT 67 PALL MALL 

With 5,000+ wines representing 52 countries, with 1,200 available by-the-glass, the award-winning 67 Pall Mall is the home of fine wine.

The Club boasts a 17-strong sommelier team, many of whom are winners of several international competitions and elected #1 sommeliers in London.

Members benefit from the low-margin wine list and can store their own wines at the Club in our original 1930s bank vault. They also have access to an impressive events calendar, and much more.

67pallmall.tv, the world’s first 4k wine tv channel, is an extension of the Club, accessible to all on demand.

 

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR: 

We are looking for a candidate who already has experience in a similar role preferably with previous experience with SevenRooms, coupled with excellent leadership and problem-solving skills.

The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills both in person and over the phone. Fluent in spoken and written English is a fundamental part of the role alongside perfect presentation with an outgoing personality, impeccable manners, and a winning smile.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To manage a team of 12 by taking responsibility of their welfare and working hours
  • To ensure our members are taken care of and getting the best experience at each visit
  • To lead shifts by creating a professional and delightful atmosphere for our members and staff
  • To manage reservations by communicating efficiently
  • To build long-term relationships with our new and existing members
  • To assist the Events team by providing necessary staff members to special events
  • Successfully work with other departments to oversee the smooth running of the operations
  • To ensure your team provides the best performance by training them
  • To demonstrate excellent organisational skills
  • Have a vibrant and engaging personality
  • To deal with customer related issues effectively and in timely manner
  • The ideal candidate comes from a hospitality background, and understands reservations software, cover management, and working in a fast-paced environment
  • Offering administrative support across the organization
