We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Cellar Assistant to join the founding location of the 67 Pall Mall Members’ Club, located in the heart of London’s St. James’s.

67 Pall Mall is a Private Members’ Club, founded by wine lovers, for wine lovers, and is home to the finest wine list in the world.

We are seeking an organised, responsible and motivated individual to join our busy Cellar team at 67 Pall Mall. Our team is led by our Head of Inventory, working to service the requests of our Members and support our Sommelier team on the floor.

At 67 Pall Mall a Cellar Assistant is an important part of the Wine service, supporting the Cellar team on day-to-day operation. Ensuring all wines and other beverage products are properly stored and located. Ensuring the smooth and efficient running of service in conjunction with our sommelier team. The ideal candidate is reliable, a quick learner, with a keen interest in wine.

This role can hold exciting opportunities for travel to our locations in Verbier, Singapore and Beaune.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Stock control and Inventory management
• Deliveries/Collections
• Liaising with members about pre booked wine orders
• Reserving and storing wine for events.
• Helping the sommelier team during service
• Running wines to our restaurant to ensure a smooth service.
• Stock enquiries

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE HAS: 

• A pro-active and attentive attitude
• Basic wine knowledge
• A good command of the English language
• Strong IT skills
• Good command of MS Excel
• Basic understanding of database systems – With previous experience of stock management software a bonus
